With a growing number of people looking online for information on the upcoming '08 elections, Google is offering new tools and ways to easilty locate and track information easily. In addition to being able to add a new "Elections" data feed into your Google News page, you can also choose to add a political Gadget to your iGoogle page.
Adding the "Elections" category to your Google News page will add the content to Google News, so that you will be able to easily view and read news feeds from your Google News page. This is along with any additional categories you may have already selected to view such as World, Health, Sports, Entertainment, etc.
Adding the Google political gadget will add the gadget to your iGoogle page. Using the Google Gadget, you can modify it to only show you select political candidates, and you can choose to track and view related stories based on Blogs, News, Videos, and also Maps. You can add this Google Gadget to your iGoogle page, or another content aggregator web site.
Combined, these two new additions to Google should help you be able to follow along with the upcoming '08 elections.
